Nickelodeon to celebrate Dora's 10th year - Tv Series

NEW YORK (The Hollywood Reporter) - U.S. cable television network Nickelodeon will celebrate Dora The Explorer's 10th anniversary next month with an hour-long prime-time TV movie and a Dora documentary.
The TV movie, "Dora's Big Birthday Adventure," will air on August 15 featuring guest stars Rosie Perez, John Leguizamo and Hector Elizondo.
Following the film, the network will premiere a specially commissioned anniversary documentary, described as a 12-minute tribute to the preschool icon.
The animated series airs in over 100 countries and has been translated in to 30 languages. It follows the educational and interactive adventures of a 7-year-old Latina girl named Dora.
The documentary will feature Anderson Cooper, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Rosie Perez, Salma Hayek Pinault, Shakira, Soledad O'Brien, Sherri Shepherd, the series creators, media experts and real-life children.
